DESCRIPTION:Boom Island Brewing Company in Minneapolis will mix comics and 
 craft beer May 1 with a fundraiser for The Hero Initiative featuring Fable
 s creator Bill Willingham.\n\nThe acclaimed writer and artist will autogra
 ph the label he designed for Boom Island’s Belgian strong Gravity No. 9 
 specifically to support the comics industry charity\, which will receive a
  portion of proceeds from the event.\n\n\nThe brewery says the beer “beg
 ins with soft aromatics of vanilla and malt\, which are followed by a full
 -bodied mouth-feel that rounds through dark fruit flavors\,” which are f
 ollowed by “a surprisingly dry finish.”\n\nLimited supplies of bottles
 \, posters and glassware will be available May 1 at Boom Island and May 1-
 3 at Wizard World Comic Con Minneapolis. Willingham\, who lives in Rochest
 er\, Minnesota\, will be at the taproom May 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.\n\nhtt
