DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating diversity within the brewing community b
 y attending one (or more!) of our partnering fundraisers being held to sup
 port the new PRIDE In Brewing Scholarship. Each of the events listed below
  will take place from 5-8 pm and $1 of every pint sold will go towards the
  scholarship.\n\n-Wednesday\, August 22nd Drink for a Cause @ 612Brew\n-Tu
 esday\, September 4th PhilathroBrew @ Urban Growler\n-Thursday\, November 
 15th Pint for a Purpose @ Tin Whiskers\n\nGray Duck Media\, parent company
  to The Beer Dabbler\, The Growler Magazine\, and Twin Cities Pride Magazi
 ne\, is proud to announce the formation of Pride in Brewing Scholarship Fu
 nd​. ​This fund exists to ensure a diverse and vibrant community for M
 innesota craft beer for years to come.\n\n“One of my favorite things abo
 ut craft beer is the diversity of the stories and backgrounds of the indiv
 iduals who have come to be a part of this community\,” said Matt Kenevan
 \, owner of The Beer Dabbler and publisher of The Growler. “There is no 
 room for bigotry or ignorance in this industry\, so we want to do what we 
 can to keep promoting a culture of inclusion in Minnesota’s craft beer s
 cene.”\n\nThis scholarship will cover the cost of tuition and fees for o
 ne student identifying as LGBTQ+ enrolled in the Brewing &amp\; Beer Stewa
 rd Technology program for 2019-2020. The 21-credit\, five-course\, two-sem
 ester program with a required internship\, is intended to provide students
  with a solid understanding of brewing science\, engineering\, management 
 and service.
