Jeff at Acadia Cafe dropped us a line to let us know about this month’s Beer & Beast. This month they are featuring Sierra Nevada’s Anniversary Ale paired with a grilled salmon dinner. They’ll start pouring the beer at 6pm ($3/Pint) Brian Bade from Sierra Nevada will be on hand to talk about the brewery and hand our swag. The salmon should be ready by 7pm, and you can get dinner and a pint for $10.

Flat Earth Brewery Tour
Check out how Jeff works his magic to create Flat Earth beer during their September brewery tour. Afterward, he suggests the group head over to Groveland Tap for their beer festival. So, get that pesky to do list accomplished in the morning and spend the afternoon enjoying great beer.
Octoberfest @The Bulldog Lowertown
The Bulldog Lowertown will be holding a 2-day Octoberfest celebration and among the many tasty treats will be Flat Earth’s newest beer, Mummy Train. Mummy Train is a pumpkin spice beer that will debut at ABR but if you didn’t get tickets this would be a great time to try it out.
Flat Earth & A Fowl Affair
If you’re a regular at the St. Paul Farmers Market (or some of the satellite markets) and a fan of locally raised fowl then you’re probabaly familiar with Callister Farm. They will be hosting an afternoon of exploring their farm, eating and drinking, including St. Paul native Flat Earth. Check out the Slow Food MN site for all of the details and how to get signed up.
Be’Wiched Beer Dinner with Flat Earth
Flat Earth will be teaming up with Be’Wiched (which Erik Anderson of Sea Change recently endorsed as one of only three places he eats out at) for a beer dinner. They will be bringing some of your favorite beers, plus there’s a good chance Jeff will have something new up his sleeve to show off.
