The beer list will consist of several hard-to-find beers from these breweries paired with Chef Landon Shoenfeld’s delicious food.

New Bell’s Beer Release @ the Gnome

Larry Bell will be joining The Happy Gnome on Sept 30 from 9-11pm to release three new beers:
Le Pianiste, Le Contrabassiste, Le Batteur, all inspired by the French Bier de Garde.

To celebrate, we will have a live jazz that night, and maybe Larry will join the band for a couple songs.  Come meet Larry and enjoy some new beers.

Please note that the Goose Island Tap Takeover has been moved to Oct. 12.

Another Ale Jail Tasting

Tuesday is approaching (or here, depending on when you read this) so that means it’s time for another Ale Jail tasting. Autumn beers are flooding our market right now, so that means it’s time to drink some Oktoberfest beers.

Adam will crack open various American brewed Oktoberfests including Lake Superior, Bells, Left Hand, Flying Dog, Schell’s and Summit, as well as some some German versions from the likes of Ayinger and Weissenhoe (brewed by German monks).

It’s sure to be a good time, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a few surprises in store.
