December 4th – Release party for “Smoke” our new Oak Aged Smoked Baltic Porter. We will be pouring Smoke at The Muddy Pig, starting around 7:00. This lager weighs in at 9.5% ABV and 35 IBUs. Yup, it smells like bacon smoked over a maple fire, tastes like bitter chocolate, vanilla and beer.
Draft only – only 14 bbls brewed, so hurry up and drink it.

“Drink Like You Care” at Kip’s Irish Pub
Finnegans night at Kip’s Irish Pub in St. Louis Park.
4 p.m. Event Kick-off. From 4 p.m. until 1 a.m., Kip’s patrons can enjoy pints of Finnegans for $4.50 each (a special price, for this day only), with one dollar of each pint sold going to help end homelessness. Plus, Finnegans lads & lasses will be on hand until 7 p.m., to pass out goodies at the door.
5 – 7 p.m. – Crowley & Hartman perform.
7 p.m. – Finnegans toast.

Lake Superior Brewing Oktoberfest
That time of year is upon us again. The three weeks in between summer and winter that we here in Minnesota call fall. With the change in seasons comes a special celebration for the heart and soul called Oktoberfest. Lake Superior Brewing will be hosting an Oktoberfest Saturday October 13 from 3-10 with plenty of Oktoberfest beer as well as the other regular LSB offerings. Located in a tent at the corner parking lot of 27th Ave W and Superior St. we will have traditional German offerings such as soft pretzels and mustard, Oktoberfest beer marinated bratwurst, German potato salad, as well as a bonfire, door prizes, live music, and games.
