Summit Beer Dinner at Uptown Cafeteria

Next Thursday, January 17th at 7:00pm,  Uptown Cafeteria is hosting a four-course beer dinner with Summit Brewer Nate Siats. Each course will be paired with a selected Summit Beer.

Beet and fennel salad, with mint, olive oil and sea salt

Jack Pine Brewery Opens Saturday

Congrats to Jack Pine Brewery – they’re opening this weekend! Should you find yourself in the Brainerd/Baxter area Saturday, stop by their taproom. They’ll be open 1-4.

Excelsior Arctic Fever Fat Bike Race/Festival

Excelsior Brewing Co. is hosting a Fat Bike race on Lake Minnetonka January 19th. The race is free to register, but spots are filling up fairly quickly. The race kicks off at 2:00 pm and is open to all bikers with at least 3″ wide tires (no studded tires allowed).

After the race, they  will be hosting Tim Mahoney and Bob Barley and the Alers in their heated beer garden tent outside the brewery and inside the taproom. Come enjoy the newest beer, Oar Lock Oat Stout!

Pour Decisions Salinity Saturday
