Prairie Porter at McCann’s

Here’s a little note about Prairie Porter from Chris Laumb at McCann’s in St. Cloud.

Prairie Porter is back at McCann’s: We are please to release and old favorite-Prairie Porter: Brewed with four English malts and two English hop varieties giving this beer a dark, rich, roasty background with light smokey undertones. Bittersweet chocolate flavor develops in the finish.

New Beer at Town Hall

Look for Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery‘s Sunrise Ale later this week. It is a Belgian Abbey Style Blonde ale. As Mike puts it, “Light, crisp and full of flavor. Great malt and Belgian yeast character…no hops here.”

And on Monday at 5pm, enjoy $2.50 pints of the next beer in their single hop series, Columbus Pale Ale, described as “not for the faint of heart… we used a ton of the American Columbus hop in this beer, and with the very light malt backbone of a Pale ale this beer really really is all about the hops.”

Sold. Mmm.
