Father, May I get Surly?

Why yes son, now that you’re 21, it’s perfectly acceptable to get Surly!

Hello Surly Nation,

I know this is a long email, but it’s important, it’s about beer. Keep
reading and you can find out how to get a couple free tickets to our Beer
Dinner at the Craftsman Restaurant on October 3rd.

SurlyFest is now out and about in the Twin Cities! We only brewed one batch
of this hoppy lager, so go ask for it at your favorite Surly bar.

Coffe Bender and our Cask Beers will continue to pop up over the city. Keep
checking out our web-site, www.surlybrewing.com We don’t always send out
emails for cask beer events.

beer, many of which are not available in liquor stores. Attendees receive a
commemorative glass and unlimited samples throughout the day. The event
also features live music from a variety of Twin Cities bands and several
food vendors.

Tickets are $25 in advance for general admission (1 p.m. – 6 p.m.) or $35

sampling and have more “quality time” with the brewmasters).

limited so advanced ticket purchases are encouraged.)

All ticket proceeds benefit the Minnesota Craft Brewer’s Guild, a non-profit
organization dedicated to promoting Minnesota breweries and the importance
of carrying on the tradition of brewing for future generations to enjoy.

Hope to see you October 7th!

The fall has been keeping us busy and our next tour will happen sometime the
end of October.

Sunday(s) Bloody Sunday(s) at the Brewhouse

Perhaps this is only vaguely beer-related, but since it’s happening at Fitger’s and you get a half pint snit of beer with your Bloody Mary, we can’t help but to pass along the information.

Howdy,
The Brewhouse has a new Sunday scene for folks that like beer, Bloody Marys and football.

Each Sunday we will add Bloody Marys to our menu. In our backroom we have a 40″ plasma tv with Surround Sound. Said tube will show NFL games all day and night until the end of the last game.

During this time our Bloody Mary will be available for the price of $6.00 including a 1/2 pint snit of your choice filled with Brewhouse beer.

Thanks, see you down at the Brewhouse.

1. VIP tickets get you an extra hour [of BEER!] (ABR begins at noon), but more importantly, an hour without crowds (Only 300 tickets will be sold!).

wonder? How’s this for a line-up: Town Hall, Great Waters, Fitger’s,
Barley John’s (I think), Summit, probably Surly and you heard it here
first, I’m bringing two of Schell’s beers on cask, one of which will be this
year’s Snowstorm, a London Stout.

See you there!
