Due to some scheduling issues, we didn’t step off the bus and onto Peavy Plaza until almost 3:30. Amazingly, we met up with four friends within minutes and proceeded to taste some new and unique beers. I made a point of trying beers that were new to me as well as some of the “special” releases, such as Summit’s cask-conditioned pale ale or Barley John’s IPA that was Randallized. Lots of good stuff. I tasted two strikingly different beers flavored with lemongrass, an oatmeal stout, an oatmeal porter and so many other tasty beers. Not surprisingly, we had a really good time and are already looking forward to our next tasting.
