Summit’s Autumn Brew Review Lineup

Here’s the scoop from the gang at Summit regarding their offerings at this weekend’s Autumn Brew Review:

2. Oktoberfest on draft
3. Oatmeal Stout on draft
4. Horizon Red Ale Cask Conditioned: Dry hopped in the cask with Amarillo
5. India Pale Ale Cask Conditioned: Dry hopped with Centennial

Schell’s Anniversary #8

Schell’s will be releasing the final beer in their series of eight beers commemorating their 150th anniversary on October 10th.  The beer: Schell’s 1905 V.T. (Vacuum Tonic).  We’ll try to get our more details as they become available.

Flat Earth Tuesday Growlers

Welcome to the day after the last weekend of summer! And with today being Tuesday, it’s time for a trip to Flat Earth.

With all the kiddies (big & little) back in school today, it will be the perfect night to grab some local take out and a growler of fresh Flat Earth beer and hear all about their first day back at school.

SurlyFest Bar Release at Tracy’s

Tracy’s Saloon & Eatery is proud to be this year’s home to Surly Brewing Company’s bar-release party for SurlyFest, Surly’s interpretation of an Oktoberfest. (Please no BJCP/style/fanboy arguments)

6:30pm Limited Seating Six Course Tasting Menu Incorporating Surly Beers Cost: $28 (see below)

7:30pm-10:30pm Open to Public

September Beer & Beast at Acadia Cafe

Jeff at Acadia Cafe dropped us a line to let us know about this month’s Beer & Beast. This month they are featuring Sierra Nevada’s Anniversary Ale paired with a grilled salmon dinner.  They’ll start pouring the beer at 6pm ($3/Pint) Brian Bade from Sierra Nevada will be on hand to talk about the brewery and hand our swag.  The salmon should be ready by 7pm, and you can get dinner and a pint for $10.
