Here is the skinny:
The 2nd annual Spudtoberfest is a fundraiser designed to raise awareness about the challenges of at risk youth in the Twin Cities and programs, such as Bolder Options, in our community that assist these youth and their families in having a better life. Our goal is to raise $20,000 at this event through door sales and a live and silent auction. We raised $12,000 last year – so we have a hefty goal this year. This event is a joint effort between Finnegans and the newly established Minneapolis Jaycee chapter – this event is bringing together community minded individuals to make a difference!Spudtoberfest will be an evening of Irish music, complimented with the most creative spud dishes and Irish buffet you have ever seen and a most competitive potato carving competition and a spud recipe competition – all judged by local Irish celebrities with fabulous prizes to be had as well!
