You know you can count on Groveland Tap to have one of the most complete line ups of Summit beer any day of the week. But they’re doing themselves one better on August 15th when they’ll be offering $2 Summit beers all day in their 2400 square foot tent.
In addition, there will be live music 5-10 pm.
Beer and cheese are natural partners. Summit teamed up with the Faribault Dairy , resulting Winter Blues earlier this year. The summertime version is out now, and in addition to being carried at Lund’s & Byerly’s, you can visit a new cheese shop just down the road in Faribault to find that and other cheeses to go along with your favorite brew.

You can sit down and let them cook with cheese for you while enjoying a pint of Summit Horizon Red Ale, Oatmeal Stout, or Extra Pale Ale AND you can also buy cheese and beer to go. UPDATE: Flat Earth will be serving Belgian Pale Ale on the patio and listening to the James Buckley Trio with Dave Seru. Doors open at 6 and the show starts at 7.
The Clayton Lions will be presenting their annual beer fest in Clayton, WI at the Richardson Sportman’s Club. Summit and Flat Earth will be representing for Minnesota. Plus there will be cheese samples, raffles and a horseshoe tournament.
Tickets: $23 in advance/$25 at the door
Ticket price includes a souvenir glass mug and pork roast plate.
