Surly 5th Anniversary Events

Ok lets try this again..thanks Todd for the clarification and further teasing. This post will be updated yet again as we learn more, and I imagine we’ll make it easy for ya to keep track and add most of em to the calendar….

So what’s all the brew-haha about? Well Surly is turning five! Starting January 31st, look for events around town–special kegs, casks and more–to celebrate their 5th Anniversary (one of which is at the Blue Nile on Feb 2) 🙂

Al is reporting that the Blue Nile will host the 5th Anniversary party for Surly Brewing in a few weeks, with specials kegs and casks and more fun, yet to be determined. More details to come!

Once again, we devote half of our taps for one week to an eclectic collection of Belgian ales, spanning the styles and scouring our resources for some unique and obscure brews, along with classics and favorites. This month, it’s:
1. Avec les Bons Veoux de les Brasseries Dupont (super saison)
2. Brassies des Geants Urchon strong dark ale
3. Kasteel Tripel
4. Val-Dieu Grand Cru
5. Rodenbach Grand Cru Flemish Red Ale
6. De Proef Les Grande Blanche double witbier.
Monday, 1/10 through Sunday 1/16. Sample sets? Of course!
