It’s Thursday, time to help Stub & Herb’s out by killing a keg. In light of the shift in the weather this week the keg to go will be New Belgium 2 Below Winter Ale. $5 for a bottomless glass until the bottom of the keg is reached.

Visit The Blue Nile this weekend for their celebration of dark ales, stouts, & porters. All of their taps will be devoted to said beers, and of course they’ll have more available in bottles.
Beers on tap:
Goose Island Bourbon County Stout 2009
Avery The Czar 2009
Surly Darkness
Bell’s Expedition Stout
Mikkeller Black Hole
Rogue Double Chocolate
Dark Horse Plead the Fifth
Summit Imperial Pumpkin Porter
Flying Dog Coffee Stout, & more.
Bottles also available as sampler set.
They’ll also have a cask of coffee-infused Rush River Chocolate Oatmeal Stout.
Free pints for costume-wearers.
It’s getting cold again and I’m making some comfort food and pairing it with beers this weekend.
We are tapping our Brau Brothers Rainwater, an oak-aged imperial stout that we’ve been aging since last year.
Features this weekend:
Curry butternut squash soup
Banana leaf steamed Arctic Char, sweet potatoes, shallots & garden carrots with a lime curry broth (pairs well with Lift Bridge Farmgirl)
Thit Kho: Vietnamese braised pork using Fischer Farms pork shank and boiled free range eggs. Served with fingerling potatoes, onions & mustard greens over rice. (pairs well with the Brau Brothers Rainwater)
Cheers, Hai
It’s Thursday night, nearly the weekend, and Stub & Herb’s has another keg they need your help to kill. It’s time to say good bye to Lift Bridge’s Farmgirl and you can have as much of her as you’d like for $5.
D-Day is coming up soon and surely a good time will be had by all. But if you can’t make it, desire some of the goodness straight from the keg or simply find yourself without plans next Tuesday, then check out Joe’s Garage. They’ll be hosting the Darkeness keg release, including Darkness pairings (the menu is currently in progress) and Wet on tap as well.
