This Friday, 12/18, Grumpy’s downtown location will be offering a Rush River Winter Warmer tea-bagged (in the non-pwned manner) with Cascade hops. The tapping is at noon.
***Update*** Grumpy’s will not be doing any special tappings next Friday, 12/25, nor Friday, 1/1 as they’ll be closed due to the holidays.
I know, I know, it’s not beer and although their headquarters are in Minnesota, the production facility isn’t. Now that that’s out of the way, if you’re a Crispin fan you might want to visit one of the below establishments to check out a limited release creation.
We have done a very and I mean very, limited run of unfiltered, unpasteurized Crispin Honey Crisp in a keg. It will NOT taste like Honey Crisp – it is probably a monster, evil cider so we have called it the “Falconetti” It is available this weekend at:

The Kids Now Foundation is holding their 10th Annual Drink For The Kids event tonight at Pracna. There is a suggested donation of $25, which includes drink specials, some appetizers and snacks, and a local DJ spinnin’ the tunes all night.
Drinks Specials include:
- $3 Select Draft Beers: Guinness Anniversary, Laguinita’s IPA, Flat Earth’s Belgian IPA, Schell’s Light and Shock Top.
- $5 Select Bombers: Magic Hat #9 and Steamworks IPA
- We’ll also have other specials running throughout the evening.
And as always, we’ll have our normal awesome tap and bottle selection.
I know this is a bit short notice, but I figured I would post and see if anyone out there doesn’t have plans for the night.
It starts at 8pm and will go until bar close. It’s open to the public! So grab some friends and come celebrate the holidays by spreading some cheer to kids in need. By drinking beer.
