Lips of Faith Friday at The Blue Nile

A bit of a different take, although equally worthy, on a beer event this Friday at the Blue Nile.

Friday at 6, we’re tapping 6 different Lips of Faith beers from New Belgium, one day only (and there are bands that night, so a cover will start after 9.)
The beers:
La Folie, sour brown ale, wood aged, lambic-like, oaky and tart.
Dunkel Weiss, bigger version of the German dark wheat ale. 9% ABV.
Abbey Grand Cru, doubled-up version of the regular Abbey Ale. 9.5%
Super Cru, for the 20th Anniversary, a beefier Fat Tire, with saison yeast and Asian pear juice added. 10 % ABV.
Kick, a pumpkin cranberry ale from Elysian Brewing, blended with a sour from NB. 8.5 % ABV.
Clutch, sour stout, collaboration with the Maryland band. 9% ABV.
All available in 12 ounce pours for $7, or as sample sets, 3 4-oz. fours for the same.
