Enjoy three beers from Two Brothers paired with an equal number of specially-made small plates for only $20. Brewer Leo from the brewery will be hand to enjoy the evening with you.

If chocolate bunnies and and brightly colored marshmallow animals aren’t your thing maybe a trip across the river next weekend for the Between the Bluffs Beer, Wine and Cheese Festival in La Crosse is in your future. Over 30 breweries, including Summit, Schell’s and Lift Bridge, will be represented in addition to wine and cheese makers.

I don’t know a lot about this event, though it might be worth checking out. The event benefits the Washington County Historical Society. Brent Peterson will give a presentation on the history of Washington County breweries followed by a tasting. Admission is $10. Event Sponsored by Barley John’s, Lift Bridge, Pig’s Eye, Still-H2), Stillwater Brewing, Summit and Surly.
Museum is located at the corner of Old Marine Trail & County Road 3, just south of Scandia.
The 5th Annual Stillwater Brewers Bazaar is slated for May 21st, 2011 from noon to 4pm. It takes place aboard the Avalon Riverboat, docked near downtown Stillwater. Tickets are $30 (+ #3 for s/h) and can be purchased here. Your ticket price includes a sampling glass & a brat… and of course, beer.

Meet Grand Teton’s new rep, Chris Furbacher, for a tasting at The Four Firkins on Friday, April 22nd from 6-8pm.
A week from today we will be hosting Chris Furbacher from Grand Teton in celebration of the yearly launch of Lost Continent, their seasonal Double IPA. This super fresh DIPA is quite an amazing experience and fans of citrusy-grapefruit hoppy beers with hints of resiny pine will absolutely love it. It also weighs in at a respectable 8% ABV, so you may need to use caution when drinking it!
We will be pouring free samples from 6 to 8pm and Chris will answer all of your questions on Lost Continent and all the beers in the Grand Teton line up.
