Leech Lake Brewing Company

We’re excited to announce another brewery project in Minnesota… Leech Lake Brewing Company. Greg, the company’s founder currently has a contractor hard at work improving and adding on to a building he purchased in Walker, MN. The plan is to start with a 3 BBL brewhouse purchased from a brewery in Mexico, he plans to brew multiple times per week to make up for the small size. Greg plans to  plan to keg and bottle his beer in bombers, and will sell growlers from a tap room. More information will be available here as things come together. Cheers! With any luck, I’ll pay Greg a visit this summer and report back!

Beer & Beast

Meat, potatoes, kraut & beer! It’s Acadia Cafe’s April Beer & Beast event.

We’ve got smoked Hungarian sausage from Kramarczuk’s served with an old Czech sauerkraut & potato recipe. It’s smackin’ good. We’re pairing it with Rush River’s new UberAlt, straight from the cask. Starts at 7 p.m. $12 gets you a heapin’ plate of food and a fresh pour of …UberAlt. Y’all come!
