Ted Marti, CEO of Schell’s, and Doug Hoverson, author of “Land of Amber Waters” were guests on MPR yesterday morning to discuss MN’s brewing history. Thanks, Dave, for sending us the link. It’d be nice if you’d send us some beer every now again, but the links, tips, etc. will suffice…I guess…for now.
Flat Earth March Update
It’s beginning to feel like Spring!
Flat Earth will be celebrating 3 years of making beer tonight at The Happy Gnome on St. Paul. The event starts at 6 p.m. and will feature 6 beers from us.

Double Hopped Angry Planet – Winner at Firkinfest 2009
Sunburst Ale – Winner of Best of the Fest St. Paul Summer Beer Festival
Grand Design – S’more infused Cygnus X-1 Porter – Winner of Best of the Fest Winterfest 2010
Ovni Biere de Garde – The only Biere de Garde from a production brewery in MN
Winter Warlock Barley-wine – The only Barley-wine from a production brewery in MNWe hope to see you out there this week!
We have 2 tours this month the 13th & the 27th. Unfortunately due to the over flow crowd at our last tour you will need a reservation for the tour from now on. You can call 651-698-1945 to reserve a tour spot. We hope to have an online tour sign up available soon.
Growler sales are every Tuesday & Thursday from 330 – 630 and Saturdays noon – 3 and after tours.
