Mark your calendars for August 27th at 7:00 pm. Tyranena will be at Stub and Herb’s for a talk & tasting. I’ve been to all but one of these events and have had a lot of fun each time. (Above, Mark Stutrud from Summit Brewing Co.) Jon has a keg of Devil Over a Barrel and Scurvy squirreled away just for this event. Food and prizes as per usual. See you there.
Mark your calendars and prepare to argue… Surly Darkness will show its proverbial face in the Twin Cities in October, and Jon over at Stub and Herb’s hasd decided to hold a Darkness Eve Party and Beer Swap. It will take place on October 24th from 8-10 pm Jon is gathering a good selection of Russian Imperial Stouts to have on hand (Old Rasputin, Storm King, Avery Czar and Leinenkugel’s Big Eddy thus far), and may also have some Surly cask beer so that Jon can show off his new beer engine. Beer trading encouraged.
