Their Fitger’s Framboise took 3rd in the wild beer category, their Edmund Fitzgerald Imperial Stout took 2nd place in the strong stout/porter category and their Collaboration Cherry Grand Cru (Town Hall’s Grand Cru and Fitger’s Cherry Batch) took first in the experimental category! The Mild is a style from England that shares the “session” status akin to the Bitter. A fair proportion of roasted barley and chocolate malts provide an almost stout/porter like quality in the flavor while the low alcohol and subsequent low body of the beer bring these flavors into focus with an easy drinkability.

Time of the tear again for our Heather Ale. This year this Scottish style ale is just a bit stronger with a much more pronounced malt character, backed by the herbal, earthy aroma of the heather tip from Scotland. We are very pleased with the changes to this year’s hop free Thanksgiving seasonal.Remember, this beer is fantastic with turkey!
