Town Hall Beer Release: Fresh Hop 2007

This is one I always enjoy… Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery’s Fresh Hop. I thought about doing the same with a batch of homebrew, but my poor, poor Centennial hop bine only produced less than an ounce of hops… just not the same… My week is a little crazy and some of the MNBeer folks are meeting on the same night, so I’m hoping to find time to have some Fresh Hop. (I think it was at Autumn Brew Review last year, too…)

That’s right kids-
Our Fresh Hop 2007 will be released on Monday Sept 24, 5-6 pm release. We used 200lbs of Cascade hops this year…they were picked on wednesday and in our brewkettle Thursday morning at 9:38.(Those dudes @ Fedex really move!) If you want to know the real raw flavor of the American hop…..you have to try this beer!

Now these staggering numbers I just mentioned come at a cost, so expect your Fresh Hop to cost just a bit more……

Release 5-6 pm $3 rather than $2
Regular price pint $5 rather than $4
Growler price $12 refill rather $8
Growler new price $17 rather than $13

ALSO REMEMBER

Autumn Brew Review next Saturday…….We have tickets……Save yourself $5 per ticket……Buy them here when you stop in for Fesh Hop 2007.

Our Sunday brunch is rockin’ again! Each and every Sunday 9-noon. ONLY $10 and it includes your first Bloody Mary,Screwdriver, or Town Hall beer.

Cheers
Mike

All-American Grill & Brewhouse

A couple of months ago I posted something about seeing a new brewpub going up in Waverly, MN, but was not able to find any other information (probably ’cause I didn’t look too hard). Well, I now have a bit more information about the All-American Grill & Brewhouse. Well, okay, I’ve got a link to a website that is under construction. The site says they’ll be opening sometime in September and that they’ll be featuring beer brewed by Ugly Tree Brewing Company. I’m ugly. I like trees. They may have something here. I’ll continue my hard-core sleuthing and actually send an e-mail out into the ether or whatever we call this webified world of ours and see if I can’t get more information. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, Waverly is about 38 miles west of Mpls according to our good friends at Mapquest.

Fitgers Update

Looks like Fitgers is purging all their summer brews, and getting ready for autumn. New on tap starting today:
Breakwater White. “A light wheat ale brewed with coriander and orange peel.”
Apricot Wheat. “Nice marriage of apricot and wheat malt.”

Coming soon:
Cherry Batch 2200. “Sometime in the Sept 11th – Sept 14th range.”
Apostle Apple Ale. “Right after cherry.”

Town Hall Beer Release: Krystall Weizen

Hey All,
Tuesday come check out our Krystall Weizen, this is a German style filtered wheat beer. They are actually quite popular in Austria, but now you can get some at your favorite hometown pub. Pretty cool eh-
