Since 1974, the North Star Chapter has hosted Guzzle ‘n Twirl, arguably one of the largest breweriana shows in the Upper Midwest. The name of the show was a result of collectors enjoying beer, while exchanging beer cans on the trade floor, followed by an evening dinner and dance. Today there is less dancing but he interest in breweriana collectibles remains strong as evidenced by attendance.
In October, collectors from throughout the country make their way to this event. They reunite with other enthusiasts to bolster their collections of beer cans, signs, trays, tap knobs, clocks and anything related to beer.
The Saturday even is open to the public and nearly 300 tables are set for collectors to display their items for sale or trade.
