Festivus Release

Ah yes, it’s that special time of year when most of “get” to spend time with the family. Here’s your opportunity to spend some time with your beer family and enjoy the annual release of Town Hall’s Festivus. The year’s recipe is an English Old Ale brewed with pure apple cider and orange. Growlers will be available.

In addition, Town Hall will also be heating things up with their annual holiday fire featuring complimentary mulled ale.

And if that isn’t enough holiday cheer for you, stick around for a free Glenfiddich tasting 7-9 pm (first come, first served).

Should mention that there is normally an outdoor fire to warm youselt by while you enjoy your Feativus and Mulled Ale. Always a great time.

“For Festivus, we erect a metal pole for you to air your greivences at. To this day, Gary has held his in.”

Maybe Festivus will see a return of Gary.

Pure apple cider and orange…orange what? Juice, whole oranges, orange peel?

  6. Ben says:

I would imagine orange peel or rind. Can’t say I’ve seen any beers made with orange juice.

    Orange drink!

    I’d agree, probably peel.

    The color orange. Melted crayons.

…is this festive crayon-based ale going to be available in growlers? I’d love to bring some down to the inlaws.

Guess i should withhold judgment until I try it, but be pretty much impossible to improve upon last years version. Not typically the biggest old ale fan.

I loved last years Festivus. Wish they would make it again. “Chocolate Coffee Stout made with Yeti Blend from our own Peace Coffee in Minneapolis”
