New Bohemia Weekly Bottle Share

Got a nice bottle you’ve been sitting on, just waiting to share it with fellow beer lovers? Hoping to get something in exchange for opening it up? Well, then you should head over to New Bohemia this–and every–Sunday at 5pm for their Craft Beer Bottle Share.

Some minimal guidelines for the event:
– Participants bring one limited, cellared, reserve or non-local bottle (any size)
– New Bohemia will mark the bottle, present you with a wristband and collect a $5 “corkage” fee which is redeemable towards a food purchase the night of the event.
-The event will be regulated at the discretion of New Bohemia staff to promote craft beer and a fun atmosphere.
There is no need to RSVP but if you have any questions, comments, feedback or want to let them know that you will be attending, please email Mike from New Bohemia at MikeB@NewBohemiaUSA.Com. (And word is that Mike will be sharing a bottle from his mostly California and West Coast cellar every week…)

Fulton Beer Dinner at Pig & Fiddle

Pig and Fiddle plays host to a beer dinner with Fulton on January 24th at 7:00pm. For this dinner they will be featuring the Fulton Worthy Adversary, Sweet Child of Vine, Lonely Blonde, Libertine and my personal favorite,  Ringer. Tickets are $50 plus tax and tip. Pig and Fiddle chef Steph will be pairing these beers with 5 different mouthwatering courses. Please call or stop in to reserve a seat. 952-955-8385

Mankato Brewery First Anniversary Party Saturday

Ain’t no party like a ‘Kato first birthday party…

Um. Something like that. Regardless, Mankato Brewery celebrates their first birthday Saturday. Though we’ve heard no word of the brewery smashing their collective faces into cake, we’ve been told that some other fun stuff is happening. You’ll need a (free) ticket to get in, and we’re told that they’ve been going fast.

Food isn’t free, but they’ve got two cool places lined up, so bring some cash.NaKato Bar & Grill will have a 3-bone rib basket and St. Peter Food Co-op will have pulled pork sandwiches.

The event is free, and beers are only $4 per pint.
