Grand Teton Tasting at The Four Firkins

Meet Grand Teton’s new rep, Chris Furbacher, for a tasting at The Four Firkins on Friday, April 22nd from 6-8pm.

A week from today we will be hosting Chris Furbacher from Grand Teton in celebration of the yearly launch of Lost Continent, their seasonal Double IPA. This super fresh DIPA is quite an amazing experience and fans of citrusy-grapefruit hoppy beers with hints of resiny pine will absolutely love it. It also weighs in at a respectable 8% ABV, so you may need to use caution when drinking it!

We will be pouring free samples from 6 to 8pm and Chris will answer all of your questions on Lost Continent and all the beers in the Grand Teton line up.

Granite City Belgian Golden Tapping

Mark your calendars for May 9th for the tapping of Granite City’s Belgian Golden. See the description below:

We will also tap our Belgian Golden on May 9th. A beautiful golden color with crisp, spicy and malty flavors. Belgian Golden ales are a perfect introduction to the world of Belgian beers. Originally brewed to compete with the Lagers and Pilsners coming from the German brewers. These beers combine the delicacy and crispness of a Pils with the spicy complexity of Belgian style beer.

Point Tasting at The Four Firkins

Can he bring me some James Page Pale Ale in cans exactly as I remember it in my head? In any case, John Zappa from Point will be at The Four Firkins Wednesday sampling beers, telling stories and other fun.

John Zappa from Point Brewing will be at the Firkins this Wednesday from 6 to 8pm!

John has visited us at the Firkins a few times and whenever he comes in we always have a great time. He’s a great story teller, sharp witted and he brews awesome beer! He has been the head brewer at Point for over thirty-five years and has tons of stories to tell.

Open for sample we will have:

Nude Beach
Einbock
Raspberry Saison
Cascade Pale Ale
Whole Hog Barleywine
2012 Black Ale
