As part of Home Brewer’s Week at the Ale Jail, this Saturday November 6th 12-5 p.m. Northern Brewer will brew a batch of beer IN THE STORE and samples of the finished beer will be available!
Home Brew Tasting @ The Ale Jail
As part of Home Brewer’s Week at the Ale Jail, this Tuesday’s Tasting will naturally be home brew! From 5- 7pm come taste a dry hopped/wet hopped porter, Oktoberfest blended with our Bittercube Bitters, rye whiskey ale with peppercorns, Belgian blonde ale, and a Surly Furious-style clone!
Oh, it’s also Election Day on Tuesday, so go vote!
Ale Jail Home Brewer’s Week
The Ale Jail Home Brewer’s Week will take take place November 1st through the 6th. All week long, bring in a bottle of home brew and get a 10 percent discount on large format bottles.
- November 2nd, 5-7 p.m. Home brew tasting! Dry hopped/wet hopped porter, Oktoberfest blended with our Bittercube Bitters, rye whiskey ale with peppercorns, Belgian blonde ale, Surly Furious style clone
- Saturday November 6th 12-5 p.m. Northern Brewer will brew a batch of beer IN THE STORE and samples of the finished beer will be available!
All the home brew received will be tasted throughout the week, and a winner will be released for best of show. (Prize to be determined!)
700 Beers at the Muddy Pig
This coming Wednesday The Muddy Pig will be tapping their 700th beer. Hard to believe 700 different draft beers have been served at The Pig over the last 8 years. And so what do they have in store? How about a keg of Bell’s Batch 9000, a 12.5% imperial stout? And what’s 701? How about some dueling stouts to mark the occasion? Yup, they’ll put their lone keg of Surly Darkness at the same time.
Lots of questions, but they have the answers. Mark it down.
