Toripuru Triple Bock at The Herkimer April Release

The Herkimer Pub and Brewery is set an April 3rd release date for their Toripuru Triple Bock, their strongest ever, weighing in at 23% ABV. Brewer Mike Willaford created this monstrous bock with the help of Japanese Sake yeast to create what the Herkimer describes as “sweet dark fruit and rich cocoa tones that swirl into a warming sweet bite at the end.”

The beer gets tapped at noon and it won’t last long. Mark your calendars.

Why a noon tapping on weekday? Who’s going to be able to take a lunch break to drink a beer that’s 23% and then return to work? This should be an evening event.

No need to call someone a bitch because they can’t drink booze at lunch.

Thankfully I work at a place where that shouldn’t be an issue. 🙂

It was a joke, but this is a humor free zone I guess. Beer is serious shit.

Hey sorry, our defenses may be a little high as of late. I’m trying to moderate the site a bit more at the request of a number of readers who complained about the comments and suggested it might turn off craft beer noobs. So I’ve been a little protective…

We’re working on rebuilding our sense of humor.

    Cheers!
