Get clean with Summit, maybe for free

A coffee beer is one way to start your day with some hops. Another way is with Summit soap!

The gift shop is in full swing for summer with new items including t-shirts, light jackets, work shirts, and our very own Summit soap! Working in collaboration with Bryn Mawr Soap out of Minneapolis, we’ve crafted a handmade, natural soap that uses hops and Extra Pale Ale in the recipe. Good enough to eat, but you might just want to stick to lathering yourself with this one.

So what about getting that soap for free? Well, if you submit a winning entry into their “Get to the bottom of it” campaign, $50 in merchandise will be yours, maybe to buy some soap with.

There’s no better way to discuss important issues than over a nice, cold Summit. That’s the idea behind our “Get to the bottom of it” campaign, which you may have seen around town. Now we’re giving you the chance to share your own thought-provoking questions with fellow Summit drinkers. Each month, we’ll pick the best and post it on our home page. If we choose yours, you’ll also win a $50 gift certificate good for Summit merchandise (and it just might appear in our ads). So “Get to the bottom of it” with Summit. It’s fun. Easy. And you can enter as many times as you like.

Surly Firkin at Edina Grill

Right now, the title pretty much sums up the details I know about. As we get closer to the date I’m sure the identity of the firkin will be released and a good bet on time would be around 6 or 7 PM. Suffice it to say that if you enjoy Surly’s beer in firkins just head over to the Edina Grill that evening an you probably won’t come away disappointed.

UPDATE: The cask will be of Furious and will be tapped around 6 pm.
