It’s a good year for beer fests, I guess! Add Minneapolis Beer Fest to the growing list of beer festivals in the Twin Cities. The first annual Minneapolis Beer Fest takes place at 5pm on Sept. 24th, 2011 downtown Minneapolis (4th & Portland). 300+ beers to sample, music, food & more. $30 advanced/$40 door, $75 VIP/$20 designated driver. Beer + Bikes Today CANCELED
I hate canceling things, but sometimes it’s better to ere on the side of caution, so with today’s (supposedly) rapidly rising temps and a fairly solid (?) threat of severe thunderstorms post-tour, we’re going to cancel our ride out to Flat Earth. 🙁

Belgian Independence Day at Acadia (Today!!)
For Belgian Independence Day (today!), Acadia Cafe will be serving up a Stone special of their Belgo Anise Imperial Russian Stout and their Cali-Belgique. $5 for a .25L pour from 5-7pm.
Midwest’s Customer Appreciation Day
Join the Midwest crew for their customer appreciation day this Saturday (July 23rd). They’ll have free hot dogs, homemade soda, and some of our their new hot sauce and mustard samples. They will also be running all grain and extract brewing demos all day long. There may also be beer.
