Course One: Goose Island Summertime Kolsch with caprese salad w/basil oil, balsamic glaze
Course Two: Goose Island Matilda with pan-seared hanger steak w/roasted acorn squash and root vegetable puree, thyme jus
Course Three Goose: Island Bourbon County Stout with Frangelico creme brulee w/hazelnuts, mocha whipped cream

Brewer and owner Tod Fyten of the Mantorville Brewing Company located in Mantorville, MN will be sampling their Stagecoach Amber Ale for Craft Beer Week at Cork & Barrel Wines & Spirits, 7057 10th St N, St Paul, MN – (651) 739-0804 on Thursday, May 20th from 5-7 pm.
Brewer and owner Tod Fyten of the Mantorville Brewing Company located in MN’s Bluff Country, will be sampling the locally made Stagecoach Amber Ale for Craft Beer Week at Bunny’s Bar & Grill, 5916 Excelsior Boulevard, 952-922-9515. Thursday May 20 8 – 10 pm. If you can’t make the tasting, you can still catch a taste. The Stagecoach Amber is the beer of the month. Bunny’s makes great food. Tod recommends the Corn Beef.
You may have missed the Bell’s Batch 9000 at Pracna, but that shouldn’t keep you from visiting them all during MN Craft Beer week. Here’s a rundown:
Pracna on Main is helping celebrate craft beer and those who love to drink it next week. Kicking everything off on Monday, we will be tapping a keg of Bell’s Batch 9000 at 3pm. Throughout the week we will be having specialty flights of other great beers from around the country. The flights will have 3 6oz pours for $8 ($7 on Happy Hour). Flights will change as barrels run out, so we’ll have new combinations on a daily basis. Brews that we will be featuring will include… New Holland’s El Mole Ocho and Envious, Furthermore Thermo Refur, Dark Horse’s Plead the 5th, Rouge John John, Flying Dog Woody Creek, New Belgium Eric’s Ale, and Avery Maharaja. Happy Hour will run as normal, from 9-11pm every night with most of the micros/domestics on tap for only $3.
Weyerbacher is the latest brewery to roll into Minnesota, and to kick things off, Heritage is having a tasting. Stop by between 5 and 8 and sample some goodies… Double Simcoe, Quad, Merry Monk, Blithering Idiot… And in case you didn’t know already, Frank (formerly from Cassanova in Hudson) has joined the awesome Heritage crew. Very nice.
