Craig over at Groveland Tap just shot me an email to let us know that he just tapped a cask of Surly Furious w/ Simcoe hops (tea-bagged, most likely) on their beer engine. Now if they could only deliver… Happy Friday!
Yeah, I’m late, but better late than never, assuming the beer is still on tap… Grumpy’s Downtown has a mystery cask that they tapped today at noon. If I remember Tyrone’s email, it was an unlabeled cask that the distributor had on hand. Anyway, go drink it. Work is overrated. Leave early.*
*Don’t blame me if you get fired. You know, this could be a good catalyst for someone with a crappy job to move on… think about it. …and don’t blame me.
Stub and Herb’s is doing a daytime release for Kentucky Breakfast Stout. They are tapping their keg on March 27th at 11:30am. They are serving a Pee Wee Herman inspired Mr. Breakfast to accompany Kentucky Breakfast. They will also have Pee Wee inspired giveaways, mini boxes of Mr. T cereal as souvenirs. Plus, look forward to a very special guest appearance. It should be fun.
Join Tod Fyten, brewer and owner of the Mantorville Brewery and his wife Madeline at First Grand Liquor in St. Paul to sample the Stagecoach lineup of brews Wednesday, March 24th from 4 – 6 pm.
