Ryan Anderson (that's me!) is the editor & founder of MNBeer. Much has changed since the fall of 2005 and I'm proud to have been a part of it all. Sometime I'll tell you about my grand theory that links craft brewing to punk rock. Just ask.

Hop Survey

I was contacted by Peter, a local grower who is looking to expand into hops production. He is planning for a small acreage next season with the intention of selling direct to local homebrewers here in the Twin Cities area. To that end, He’s put together a web-based marketing survey directed towards homebrewers to get their input and perspectives. If you could help him out, I’m sure you’ll make the guy happy!

Here’s a link to the survey…

Surly Growler Trade-In at Vine Park

This sounds like a cool little promotion from our friends at Vine Park, especially if you have a few Surly growlers sitting around.

Surly Growler trade in promotion
We’re not Surly. We don’t brew their beers. And, we think its sad that under MN law, they can’t sell growlers of their fine beverages.

It is also sad that other growler sellers can’t refill those jugs for you.

What we can do is let you trade in your clean Surly growler for a Vine Park growler so you can try our beers. We will accept up to two Growlers per customer in exchange for ours. Its that simple. You simply pay for the fill & the taxes.
