Wag’s Wheat at Granite City

Granite CityGranite City will start tapping a new seasonal, Wag’s Wheat this week. You’ll have to check with your local Granite City for details, but look for it soon. It’s a Hefeweizen. Here are the details:

Grain: Cargill Special Blend, Malted Wheat
Hops: German Hersbrucker Hallertau
OG: 1.052

Description
Style: Hefeweizen
Color: Golden with a cloudy haze
Body: Light and effervescent
Flavor: Decidedly fruity (banana-like) and phenolic (clove, nutmeg); may even have hints of bubblegum
Alcohol: Approximately 5.7% alcohol by volume
