New Ulm, MN. July 3, 2013 – Originally expected to be released May 1st, Schell Shocked has undergone two additional months of research and development to ensure the highest quality along with the addition of a new all-natural flavoring. Ideal for those sun-kissed afternoons, this invigorating blend provides the ultimate in summer refreshment.

Bud, Tina and Tom of the Bemidji Brewing Co.

Our friends at Bemidji Brewing Company recently moved from Harmony Food Co-op’s kitchen to their own space at 401 Beltrami Avenue NW in downtown Bemidji. The brewery is now up and running and they’re working to get their taproom open soon. Right now it looks like they’re shooting for mid-July. Our new brewery is up and running which means we’ll be ready to open our taproom doors in mid-July 2013.  Watch their Facebook for progress and details!

Catch a Ride to All Pints North!

allpintssmThe folks from GetKnit are making your trip to Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild’s All Pints North Summer Brew Fest a little easier. If you’re not crazy about paying out the nose for a hotel in Duluth or bribing a sober cab from the Twin Cities, catching a ride, this may be the option for you. They’re also throwing in an event ticket, lunch, a pre-event party and other offers. Grab tickets here. Now through July 5th, you can get one for $79. After that it’s $99.

Our day will begin in Roseville, where your GetKnit Gurus will anxiously await your arrival and have already taken care of all of the details of your day. As we travel north aboard our luxury coach bus, we will pad our bellies for the day ahead with some delicious boxed lunches and prepare to enjoy all that this beer-fest has to offer – and then some!

We will be welcomed to Duluth, the mayor-proclaimed Craft Beer Capital of Minnesota, by our friends at the North Shore’s newest brewery, Bent Paddle Brewing Company.  These skilled brewers will treat us to a private tour of their state-of-the-art facility as well as samples of their brand new brews.  Learning about the brewing process, why Lake Superior water is some of the best in the world for brewing, and tasting beers directly from the fermentation tanks will be the perfect warm-up for the day’s festivities.

A short jaunt across town will deliver us to the main attraction of the day: the second annual All Pints North Summer Brew Fest at Bayfront Festival Park.  The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild has invited us to enjoy no-wait access to their annual event featuring unlimited tastings from more than 40 member breweries and brewpubs from across our great state – as well as select regional and national beer companies.  As if the beer wasn’t enough to satisfy your appetite for local flavors, you will also have access to the array of on-site food trucks.

After four hours of tasting the best beers that our northern neighbors have to offer, we will hop aboard our buses and let our drivers deliver us safely back to our beloved Cities.
