Starting this Friday evening @ 7pm, Pracna on Main will be pouring flights of Oktoberfests and fall seasonals to coincide with the Minneapolis Oktoberfest on the riverfront. The flights will feature five 5 oz. pours for $8. They’ll be $7 during nightly 9-11pm happy hour. They’ll do one Oktoberfest flight, and one “Harvest” flight, for lack of a better term. Oktoberfest flight: Bell’s Octoberfest, Flying Dog Dogtoberfest, Paulaner Oktoberfest, Schell’s Octoberfest, and Avery’s The Kaiser Imperial Oktoberfest. Harvest flight: Capital Autumnal Fire, New Holland Ichabod Pumpkin Ale, Goose Island Harvest Ale, Southern Tier Pumking Imperial Pumpkin Ale, and Boulder Cold Hop. Pracna is going to run this through the weekend and into next week, and will be rotating some other great beers in as they arrive (Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest, Surlyfest, etc.) In addition, they’ll have food specials, featuring brats, Polish reubens, and pretzels with homemade beer mustard. Come sit on the patio and enjoy some top-notch seasonal brews… should be a good time!

Edina Grill is celebrating their 10th Anniversary with a New Belgium Brewery Night on Sept. 23, 2009 from 6-9 pm. They’ll feature tap specials of Fat Tire, Hoptober, La Folie and Dandelion Ale. The first 50 people get a free New Belgium globe glass. Mmm. La Folie!
