The Muddy Pig joins the ranks of those holding special events leading up to ABR tomorrow. They welcome John Haggerty, former brewer at Minneapolis Town Hall and now brewmaster at New Holland Brewing Company to the Pig tonight at 5:00. John will be available to answer your questions about beer, brewing, New Holland and the beer business in general. Mark sez: “Start you weekend right with a cold New Holland beer and great conversation with one of the craft beer industry’s real talents.”
Word.
Head to The Muddy Pig next Wednesday, October 1st, at 5pm for their annual Oktoberfest celebration. Hacker-Pschorr is bringing a ceremonial keg of Oktoberfest, “like they use to kick off the real deal in Munich,” adds Mark. Buy a liter stein filled with Hacker-Pschorr beer for just $15 and keep the stein. Refills are only $10.
Join Summit Brewing Co. on Tuesday, October 7th at 6:30pm for a five-course at the Edina Grill. Summit founder Mark Stutrud will be on hand to guide you through the following courses:
Crab, dill, and avocado crepes paired with Pilsener
Jumbo prawn tempura with rice vinegar glace paired with Extra Pale Ale
Pan Asian turkey meatball stroganoff with egg noodles and coconut curry sauce paired with India Pale Ale
Oktoberfest brine soaked pork medallions with mustard jus and bleu cheese crust paired with Oktoberfest
Espresso Pots de Creme with Oatmeal Stout
All of this for $55! Call 612-202-7703 for reservations.
