Altered Esthetics and Indeed Brewing Co. have paired up to celebrate art and craft beer. Work from 20+ artists spanning numerous mediums will be on display at both venues through April 25th and an opening reception will take place at Altered Esthetics (1224 Quincy Street, NE) from 7-10pm on April 5th. The Nomad World Pub in Minneapolis is hosting Lost In Libation- A Night of Beer Speaking with Lagunitas from 6-9pm tonight. Stop in for a whole lotta’ Lagunitas, featuring Sucks!, WTF and Imperial Stout.
The Four Firkins will be sampling the latest from Cold Spring’s Third Street Brewhouse from 6-8 on April 3rd.. The brewhouse crew will be on hand to sample their Three Way Pale Ale, a beer brewed with three different malts and three different hops.
To celebrate Blue Plate Restaurants‘ 20th anniversary, Summit’s Damian McConn brewed an Australian IPA.
Beer description per head brewer Damian McConn:
“New Aussie hops. Old Aussie yeast strain. Yank malt for the base. This assertive unfiltered White IPA combines the fruitiness of a classic yeast from Down Under with the spicy earthiness of next generation Tasmanian hop varieties. Clean assertive bitterness, stone fruit flavours and a solid aroma of spicy peach and mango.”
