To celebrate Blue Plate Restaurants‘ 20th anniversary, Summit’s Damian McConn brewed an Australian IPA.
Beer description per head brewer Damian McConn:
“New Aussie hops. Old Aussie yeast strain. Yank malt for the base. This assertive unfiltered White IPA combines the fruitiness of a classic yeast from Down Under with the spicy earthiness of next generation Tasmanian hop varieties. Clean assertive bitterness, stone fruit flavours and a solid aroma of spicy peach and mango.”
Quantities limited. Special prices on all Summits for the month of April 2013.

Sunday, March 31st is Sour Sunday at Buster’s on 28th. They’ll be tapping kegs of Surly Pentagram, New Holland Blue Sunday Ale and the Duchesse – Duchesse De Bourgogne.
Saturday April 6th is your chance for a bicycle hat trick. The plan is to meet at Dangerous Man in northeast Minneapolis at 3pm for the beginning of a pedal-powered, beer-fueled brewery ride that end at ARTCRANK, which is taking place (appropriately) at the Grain Belt Studios.
The fist tapping of Brewery Ommegang’s Iron Throne Blonde Ale happens this afternoon at Grumpy’s NE. In true Grumpy’s Friday afternoon fashion, they’ll have complimentary smoked turkey legs.
Drink up and pour one out for dear old Ned Stark while you curse that annoying little shit, king Geoffrey.
