Rush River Firkin at Brasa

Rush River will be at Brasa in St. Paul with their final firkin of Lyndale Brown Ale that was infused with Pomegranate Green Tea. Since I can’t say it any better, in their own words, “Killer beer meets killer food. Be there.”

Regarding that “killer food”, Brasa will be pairing the beer with Five Spice Pork Belly, Citrus Cabbage Salad and Chaulafan Fried Rice.

More Lucky Bucket

I had a chance to sample some of the Lucky Bucket brews over at Thomas Liquors last night (wowzers, good stuff), and learned that they’ll be all over town the next few days.

Beer Olympics at Whiskey Junction

While one shouldn’t anticipate craft beer an event where challenges include “alcohol tolerance” and offers a $10 all-you-can-drink option for spectators, it’s hard to pass up the opportunity to watch (or participate in) another of the challenges, “ride a kiddie trike.” Teams of five can sign up or if you want to participate but can’t convince any of your buddies to take the plunge, you can sign up as a free agent.
