Flat Earth Anniversary Food Pairings at Preston’s

As mentioned before, Flat Earth’s third annivarsary party will take place on March 1st at Preston’s Urban Pub. Here’s an update on some of the food pairings:

Here are the food specials we will be running for the Flat Earth Anniversary Party on March First:

Mini Reubens paired with Ovni
Ginger Sunburst Cheese Curds served with Marinara – made with Sunburst Apricot Ale
Spicy Chorizo Bites will be cooled off nicely with the Double Hopped Angry Planet
Cherry Chipotle Tuna Tar Tar served on Ciabatta  paired with the Belgian Pale Ale
Pineapple, Lamb, Green Pepper and Onion Shish Kabobs paired with the Winter Warlock Barleywine
S’more Brownies paired with the Grand Design Porter

Stew & Brew @Trotter’s Cafe

If a hearty bowl of soup sounds like a good way to end the day, check out Trotter’s Cafe in St. Paul tonight for their Stew & Brew Night. They’ll be offering two hearty stews (yes, there is a veggie option) and two local taps – Flat Earth and Summit. Buy the stew and get a 1/2 price tap brew.

Wassail Night @Great Waters

The calendar says it’s still winter and hot drinks on a cold night might be just the thing to kick your weekend off (’cause nobody really works on Friday, right?).

Great Waters will be having Wassail Night, plus a special cask beer tapping, this Thursday and serving out on their ice patio. If you haven’t been by since before the Winter Carnival, the patio is pretty sweet looking.
