Farm Girl Saison™ will be on tap this Friday, March 6th at Ruby Begonia’s in Stillwater. To celebrate we will be there this to hang out, pour samples and enjoy the live music. Ruby’s is a great place with two venues, the main bar and the upstairs Lounge. The Lift Bridge Guys will be pouring samples from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM for those who want to try.

Mark your calendars! Arborfest will take place on Friday May 1st from 5:30-9pm at Kagin Commons on the Macalaster College Campus. Family Tree Clinic’s 9th annual Arborfest is an evening featuring the best hand-crafted beer to sample from top local breweries and brew pubs, a raucous bagpipe festival opener, live DJ, tasty eats, a brewery swag raffle and competition, non-alcoholic beverages, and a good time to be had by all in support of a great local clinic resource!

Their website currently lists 28 participating breweries but the food pairings won’t be announced until a couple weeks before the event.
Corey dropped us a line to let us know about a Two Brothers event taking place at Acadia Cafe on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7pm. They will be mulling Avalon and have it availble for your glass at 7pm. Avalon is a 7.7% spiced ale with pressed apples.
I stopped into Town Hall on Friday with friends and had an excellent night – I thought Batch 1000 was heartily hopped and flavorful and also enjoyed a few sips of Winterberry. Good times, good people, great service! Anyway, I noticed that they were tapping Twisted Reality today but promptly forgot. Thankfully Mike came through with a reminder…

You took care of most of the Batch 1000. Today we will release Twisted Reality Barleywine. The current batch is a 9.9% abv American Barley Wine. Release at 5pm. Yes, we will have growlers.Humpty Dumpty (John) in the kitchen had a great fall…….his injury will mean NO SMALL PLATE TODAY- You have received them very well and they will return next release….sorry. Tomorrow Night (Tuesday)
We will have a Reps here from the Lion Brewery (Sri Lanka) serving the famed Lion Stout and the limited Lion Imperial Lager and Chisago Lakes Dist. serving the bold Double Kilt Lifter from Moylan’s Brewery in California. These are very nice beers that you can sample tomorrow night only for just $3 per pour. We also will have some logo glassware from those breweries that you can take home with you. This is from 6:30-9:30pm 3/3- try and stop by for a great opportunity to try these wonderful beers and at very little cost!Cheers,
