Beer and cheese tasting at The Craftsman with Eric Wallace of Left Hand Brewing Company
There will be a meet the brewer at the Happy Gnome with Eric Wallace of Left Hand Brewing Company in CO. Starts @ 7p.m. Tues. March 6th.
Here’s some news from Mark at The Muddy Pig:
Beer Lovers,
I’m sure many of you at one time or another have turned to your buddy and said “I really wish I could get a cask conditioned Summit Porter”. Well now you can. Stop by The Muddy Pig at 6:00 this Friday, March 2 when we will be tapping a firkin of what some would say is Summit’s best beer. There are only about 75 pints in a firkin so it won’t last long. We do have a second firkin which we plan to tap Saturday evening assuming ya’ll don’t suck it up Friday night.
And there is a new brewery in town, Flat Earth Brewing Co. Their first beer is a Belgian pale ale which will be tapped as soon as we have an open line. Friday???
Stop shoveling and get down to The Muddy Pig Friday night. See you there!
Mark
Hey All,
Beer release time on Monday 2/26 5:00pm.We set Josh free… he went to Portland, OR and it seems like he learned some things in his time there!
I asked him to do a recipe and what did I get…a @##&*^$^%*% Belgian Wheat Wine.
So stop down on Monday and try a glass (10oz)of Rubicon for just $2 from 5-6pm.
You will love it….it’s really good.Make sure you track down Josh and let him know what you think.
Cheers,
Mike
Join Dan & Deb Justesen and other Vine Park Brewers for a great combination of small, independent Bavarian and Franconian Breweries, history, castles and Bavarian culture. We’ll travel by private coach to some of the cool corners of the southern Germany including Garmish-Partenkirchen, Rothenburg, and Bamberg, as well as an overnight or 2 in private brewery guesthouses…and did we mention that the infamous Oktoberfest coincides with our last weekend together.
Arrive in Munich by September 27th and we enjoy our trip til October 7, 2007 although you can of course stay longer or travel to other parts of Europe on your own.
All the details are available at www.beertrips.com/vinepark
See you in Munich.
