A Firkin Snowstorm at Stub & Herb’s Friday

At 3pm they’ll tap the first cask ever of . This year’s Snowstorm is a Wee Heavy and 6th generation brewmaster Jace Marti will be on hand to answer questions and enjoy beers with you. $3 pints! Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival Presale Party

The Beer Dabbler will be holding a presale party on November 17th at Cherokee Tavern in St. Paul from 7-9pm. You can buy your Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival tickets for $25 (as opposed to $30 plus any fees), and enjoy $3 pints of Summit, Schell’s Snowstorm and Goose Island 312 as well as 1/2 price wings and chips & guacamole.

The Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival takes place from 4-8pm on Saturday, January 28th at the St. Paul Farmer’s Market.

We’ve seen some experimental brewing on Brewing TV, but nothing like this. Our buddies at Lift Bridge Brewing Company get shellacious on an Oyster Stout. And they aren’t holding anything back. The boiling wort had shells, oyster meat and the briniest of the briny juice thrown in! Minnesota Beer Activists Foamraiser Saturday

Minnesota Beer Activists is holding a fundraiser…er foamraiser Saturday at Nomad World Pub in Minneapolis from 4-8. Proceeds & donations will go to funding the groups’ initiatives and operations. The event will include beer from Lift Bridge, Steel Toe, Harriet, Odell and Lucid as well as food from Natedogs, Mustachios as well as music from Peter Lang, West of Aldine, guest speaker Doug Hoverson and a silent auction.

A good cause, good beer, good food, good music? Count us in.
