Beer Dabbler at St. Paul Winter Carnival SOLD OUT

Matt dropped us a line to let everyone know that the Beer Dabbler Showcase at the St. Paul Winter Carnival has sold out. If you didn’t get a ticket, try again next time at Highland Fest Beer Dabbler in July. They plan on introducing “Beer Class” and a list of new breweries to try. Until then…
breweries for you to try. Until then…

Schell’s Bock Fest

Schell’s is hosting their 24th Annual Bock Fest on 2/13 (11-4:30).  The event is held on the brewery grounds and will be outside, so be sure to bring your own firewood and 50 gallon drum to keep warm.  Anecdotally, the event is a helluva good time, but crowded.

On a related note, I received a e-mail stating that The Herkimer is going to be running two buses to Bock Fest again this year.  I’ve been told that they do a fine job.  $60 per person gets you breakfast at The Herkimer starting at 7:30 (but not entry into Bock Fest – that is a separate $5 fee).  The buses depart at 8:30.  Space is limited.  Sign-up at the bar.

Town Hall Double Release

Start next week off right with a stop at Town Hall for a double release.

Hey All,

These will both be available at 5pm and will also be in growlers for your enjoyment, while you are in for a pint remember to ask about the 5th Annual Chili Cook Off that is always held on Super Bowl Sunday. Find out the details and enter your own “secret chili”……Please (I can’t listen to how unbelievable Pete’s winning chili is for another year)
