Barley John’s has a little treat to help you celebrate Leap Day.
Happy Leap Day! Stop by today only and get a free pint of your favorite pub brewed beer with purchase of a growler – limit one free pint per person – Wild Brunette not included for either the pint or growler.
Better Beer Society and Brewing TV worked together on this video on “How to Pour a Proper Pint.” It’s produced more for restaurant and bar staff usage, but is still good advice for anyone serving beer from a tap — commercially or at home. Raise a glass to beer bars, taphouses and industry servers doing it proper! (#pouritproper)
To get people more acquainted to MN breweries, Ngon Vietnamese Bistro is offering up their 13 taps to a different brewery each month. They’ll feature their beers & flights for the entire month, with a kick off happy hour with the founder and brewers, featuring specials and prizes. Sorta like a brewery tour outside of a brewery.
The first one will be with the brewery closest to Ngon, Summit Brewing. The kickoff happy hour will be on March 15th-the Ides of March–from 4pm to 6pm with founder Mark Stutrud.
For anyone that was planning to attend the Cask Ale Festival at Brit’s Pub tonight, please be advised that it has been postponed until Tuesday, March 13th due to weather. All reservations will be carried over to the new date.
