Black Hearted Beer Dinner at Blackbird Cafe
The Anti-Valentine’s Day Beer Dinner! Featuring all black beers including 21st Amendment Back in Black, Founders Imperial Stout, Left Hand Fade to Black, Furthermore 3 Feet Deep & Left Hand Milk Stout. $65 includes a 5 course meal, 5 beers, tax & gratuity. Master Cicerone Beer Pairing

Wanted everyone to know about a seminar on beer pairings with Master Cicerone® Nicole Erny. Nicole recently earned her certification joining the ranks of only three others to earn the title of Master Cicerone and is the first woman to hold the top level of this program.
In this two hour seminar Nicole will demonstrate how to artfully pair three everyday foods such as caesar salad, margherita pizza, and cheesecake with six amazing beers to achieve incredible results.

Spring Ale Fest
The first annual Spring Ale Fest takes place on April 7th at the Ritz Theater in Northeast Minneapolis. The event will feature 8 local craft brewers 30+ beers over two sessions, noon-4pm and 5-9pm. Tickets are $30 before February 7th and $40 afterward. Tickets, of course, include unlimited samples. The event will also include raffles & prizes, etc.
Currently, the breweries include Brau Brothers, Barley John’s, Lucid, Harriet, Flat Earth and Dangerous Man.
