Lanny Hoff from Artisanal Imports will be doing a free sour ale blending seminar at Bulldog NE at 6pm on Monday, May 16 as part of their Sour Ale Fest May 16-17. He’ll be working with unblended old and new Cuvee de Jacobin and attendees will be tasting several different blends of the two, as well as the real finished product.
9 different sour ales from Belgium as well as American craft breweries will be available on tap.

If you find yourself on the other end of town but craving a firkin fix, check out Stanley’s. They’ll be tapping a firkin of oak-aged Forgotten Flem* from Brau Brothers. Plus, a Brau will, “be there talking smart with answers to everything you wanted to know about Lucan but were afraid to ask.”
*Forgotten Flem is a dry, hoppy, fruity Belgian Saison brewed with rye and 50+ IBUs of hoppy goodness.
