New Beers, Chili Contest & Barrel Aged Week

Lots of news coming out of Town Hall today. Grab a beverage and take it all in.

Hey All,

This coming Monday you may want to swing by Town Hall Brewery. We will release TC Porter our latest Coffee beer made with the freshly roasted Twin Cities Blend from our friends down the street at Peace Coffee.

Also, we will release HMF. This is another strong pale ale featuring the Columbus and Centennial hop. Weighs in at a hefty 7.8% abv and is…well it is pretty hoppy. Some at the brewery call it “Hoppy Minded Fool”, some call it something else.

Swing by at enjoy the intro from 5-6pm 1/24. Yep Growlers of both available.

2/6 is our 6th annual chili cookoff. Enter, cook up your finest, win gift cards. and bragging rights! Pretty simple deal here. Call to get signed up. This is a fun way to enjoy the Super Bowl.

2/21- 2/26 2nd annual Big and Barrel Aged Week! This is when you get to take Czar Jack home in growlers! Rest your livers…..details to follow.

Win Winterfest Tickets: Prove Your Minnesota Beer Heritage

The Minnesota Craft Brewer’s Guild wants you to share why you are a true Minnesota craft beer lover. Have you toured every brewery in the state? Do you brew a unique beer for every season? Did you introduce your 80-year old grandmother to the state’s best IPAs? Or do you just have a love affair with the great beers of Minnesota, unmatched by any of your friends? In 200 words or less, tell us your qualifications and heritage when it comes to Minnesota craft beer. Please visit the www.mncraftbrew.org or email minnesotabrewers@gmail.com to submit your entry. The Brewer’s Guild will select two separate winners Mr. Minnesota Craft Beer and Ms. Minnesota Craft Beer. We want to celebrate thou who prove to be the most devoted Minnesota craft beer enthusiast. And please note the winners do not have to be affiliated.

The winners will be awarded four tickets to Winterfest, the Minnesota Craft Brewer’s Guild winter showcase on Friday, February 4. The winners will also get a private meet-and-greet with some Minnesota brewers and early access to Winterfest.

The deadline for submissions is 10pm CST on Monday, Jan 31.

St Cloud Craft Beer Expo Saturday

Helllllllllllooooooo St. Cloud! Are you ready to raaaawwwwwkkkkk?!?!?!??!

…um. Yeah.

So the St. Cloud Craft Beer Expo is Saturday… I think you should go. If the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest is any indicator, this event should compliment the flurry of local beer fests. St. Cloud is certainly ready for it… Personally, I look back to some great times in college, enjoying many craft brews for the first time & exploring the beers at Westside Liquor, drinking O’Hara’s samplers and trying new brews at the original (and at the time, only) Granite City.

Kill the Keg at The Blue Nile

The Blue Nile is running its own version of Kill the Keg with a special deal to help clean up after Belg-a-Rama #3. Stop in tonight for a 12 oz Brasserie Geants’ Urchon at the rock bottom price of $4 (it’s normally $7). If you get there after that keg blows the same deal will apply to La Grande Blanche from De Proef Brouwerij.
