Check out Rock Bottom on the 25th for two tappings. The first is their Belgian Whitbier, Red Light White. This brew is made with raw wheat, oats and spiced with coriander and orange peel. Second is Bastogne Blond, a light, clean, crisp ale.
Apparently the firkin at the Eden Prairie Old Chicago was a success. So… Old Chicago Plymouth is hosting their first firkin night on Tuesday, June 23rd at 5:00pm. They are featuring Lagunitas Hop Stoopid with Karen from the brewery available to answer questions.
The new beer engine at Groveland Tap is up and running. The first cask is Laganitas Hop Stoopid. They are also still pouring the Goose Island reserve series. Whoops. I guess this negates the post about Grumpy’s NE pouring the first cask of Hop Stoopid in MN.
Ngon Vietnamese Bistro will be tapping a keg of Surly 16 Grit on Friday, but they have a keg that they need to kill first. So mention this post and get 2-4-1 Lake Superior Red. A cask of Summit Horizon Red with amarillo is also now ready for your consumption. Ngon Bistro is also planning to have a 5 course Localvor Tasting Dinner paired with Lift Bridge beer on July 21st. It will be in their garden patio & seating will be limited. Courses will be made using ingredients from local farms & the St. Paul farmers market. More details on menu will be available in July.
