Sounds like a fun night at Three Squares!

Thursday June 18th from 6-9 p.m.  We will pour the Scotty Karate Scotch Ale and Dark Horse Sapient Tripal (Belgium beer).  $2 Pilsners from 6-9 p.m.  The beer Scotty Karate is named after an actual guy, Scotty Karate.  He is a friend of the brewery and also a one man music act.  A little off the wall but really fun!  Scotty will be making a live appearance at 3 Squares and playing that evening.  The rep from Dark Horse is Mike Earnhart.  He will be on hand, possibly a brewer also.  He is working on that.  A brewery rep from Dark Horse and JJ Taylor staff to be on hand to share some beer and gifts with the guests.  Vendors are to provide bar swag, hats, t-shirts, key chains, bottle openers, beer cozies, etc.

Busters on 28th is holding a launch party for some new Moylan’s beers on Thursday, June 4, from 7-9 pm. $3 drafts while they last! Check out some new draft releases for Minnesota… Pomegranate Wheat, Koelsch, Hefeweizen, ESB, Dragoons Dry Irish Stout as well as Hopsickle. Enjoy!

3 Squares in Maple Grove is having an Anniversary Party on Thursday, June 4th. New Belgium will be featured AND they will have the new Biere De Mars on draft!!  The distributor only got a very limited supply of this beer, so when it’s gone it’s gone… enjoy!

It sounds like a wonderful party at the ‘Pig! …and here I thought it was cool that one of my friends living in New York came back for the MNBeer 3.5 year birthday party. She’s very cool, but not exactly the Prior from the Koningshoeven Trappist Monastery. 🙂

Muddy Pig’s 7th Birthday Party on Saturday, June 27, all day. Wow, can it really be 7 years already? We all know The Muddy Pig has the best customers in the cities and to thank you for 7 years of support we are throwing a party. All draft beers will be half price on Saturday, June 27 from open to close. Please make arrangements for a ride home. Koningshoeven Event on Saturday, June 27 @ 1pm and 2:30pm We have a very special event planned to coincide with our 7th birthday party. The Prior from the Koningshoeven Trappist Monastery will be at The Muddy Pig for 2 seminars at 1:00 and 2:30. This will be the first time in forever that a member of one of the Trappist breweries will be in town and it’s an event you won’t want to miss. At the seminar you will learn about what it means to be a member of the order, what it takes to make real Trappist ales and what the future holds for these amazing products. Not to mention sampling the entire lineup of Koningshoeven beers including a one time beer created to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of the monastery.
